All nodes are active -- right-click to pull up a popup with ranked list of stories tying together the entity (person/place/organisation) and the topic of the analysis. The links in the popup are also live -- click to open default browser with the story. This visualisation is to me MUCH more directly usable than the classic spidermaps, as a briefing and tracking tool. Data sources (search engines, etc) for this are pulled by bespoke sensor modules -- adding a data source is less than a screen of code... Next is adding longitudinal tracking and trend analysis/curve fitting.... Would you like to comment?Sign up for a free account, or sign in (if you're already a member). |
