Here's an old photo of Kiley.
Kiley just called to let me know that one of our friends passed away
today.
Baltimore. Drugs. OD.
He was one of my biggest fans. When I would do a professional shoot,
he was my assistant. A really good photographer. He took this photo in
the background one night in my loft. Kiley and I then put the negative
in an old slide projector my grandpa gave me and messed around a bit.
For anyone out there who does any sort of recreational drugs, just
stop and think about what you're putting in your body. You have no
idea what these substances are and they're designed to push your body
to its limits. I've seen too many kids come into the ER dead and too
many friends die from drugs to not respect how deadly they are.
He was 20 years old. RIP Adam. You'll be missed forever. You were an
amazing guy.

Sorry for your loss.
I lost over a decade to drugs and alcohol and have seen these substances destroy a lot of lives (not to mention the lives of their friends & family.)

I'm so so so sorry about your loss. My prayers are with you and his family. My ex husband was addicted to prescription morphine and he turned from a happy guy to a person I could not recognize. Drugs, prescribed or not, are poison, for one's soul and body. It's amazingly hard to get off them. I work in the medical field and I really wish there was more information out there about the down side.

One of my fiancés best friends lost her little (and only) brother to drugs earlier this year. His name was Daniel, he was 17.
He had a combination of morphine and Xanax in his system. His last moments on earth were talking to his mom over the phone with slurred speech telling her he was fine and he just needed to sleep. "I'm tired...so tired" is what he said. Their family is now falling apart because of the guilt and pain associated with his choices.
I agree with you Jay. Get some help and get a new hobby guys.
