    These blue buildings are the "processing" facilities.

    The Dump trucks drop their load (~400 tons) of oil sand and other stuff onto a pile, it is then being put onto a conveyer, the large parts are being broken down. Then it is "cooked" by approx. 45 degrees C and the "froth" is skimmed of.

    All of this is then pumped to the plant for further processing.
