Benidorm at night from Gran Hotel Bali

    Took this shot from the top of the Gran Hotel Bali, tallest hotel in Europe. Kinda scary getting up there (glass lift and all to the top).
    Lack of light (arrived late) gave way to this great effect where you can see the street lights had just come on and the sun was setting behind me.

      Thank you. I was really lucky to get a decent shot that time. I forgot to (well, more like never thought of it) bring my tri-pod and the light was so low that my shutter speed had to be slow. (I also took a few most of which were pretty blurry)

      Excellent colors! I like the streets and beach lit by street light a lot. Try however to keep the horizon straight for perspective.

      Nicely composed shot of a seaside town at night - maybe best not to mention its Benidorm though!
