everywhere is up

New York, NY – This was taken outside the Natural History Museum looking north east. I believe this building is the Excelsior Hotel. Located in the upper west side of New York City this area feels a lot more like a park then downtown. I have only been to NYC a handful of times but every visit has been an adventure. The city is so big it seems to create its own weather system. The parks are so big you forget you are in the country’s largest populated city. The buildings seem to go past the horizon and people move like blood cells passing through the arteries of the city. I heard someone say, “There is no city like New York”. I couldn’t agree with them more.

Never, ever, give up.

Never, ever, give up.

Somewhere in Washington State – My dad back in the 1960’s. Even then he wouldn’t let obstacles keep him down. Well at least he was persistent even if it seemed “impossible.” I have learned so much through his examples. There have been and will be plenty of dirty rugged hills to climb; all we have to remember is keep moving forward and whatever you do never let off the throttle.

Quilcene, WA - It’s not just a cabin in the forest it’s a cabin in Washington State. There is something magical about the northwest. It’s the birthplace of most air fresheners.

Toronto, Canada – Those things you find when your not looking for them. I wasn’t looking for a cement truck, then again I gather most people don’t find themselves looking for one either. Some vehicles expound personality, just sitting their yearning for the ability to express themselves. This truck seemed very proud of its occupation, it must laugh at all the shiny trucks with low profile tires, never seeing a day of work in their lives.

Reseda, CA – If you are wondering what you are looking at it’s a bear bottle opener. It has to be one of the best gifts I have ever received. I am in the process of building the ultimate garage; complete with a humidor, dartboard, boxing station, sound system, and a future parking space for a motorcycle. Life just keeps getting better. Cheers!
