Wam!After a long time, I was able to see these guys perform again. The last time I saw them live was from the last Baguio Arts Fest that the late Santi Bose has organized (1997?) I don’t exactly remember the year, but I remember they had a series of performances all over Baguio. They performed in Botanical one morning, mostly at nights in Café by the Ruins where poetry reading and other performances would come after. The last stop was Convention Center where people from different fields of art from different countries would come over to celebrate art and music in Baguio. I remember everyone getting smashed from drinking Tapeuy. I remember people writing on walls and painting on roads. I remember people telling stories in different mediums; some by reading poems, others by singing. Some by dancing, some through installations, others through film and photographs. Others would carve on stones and woods. Some would bend and heat metals, and Pinikpikan; with their music. After all these years, nothing much has changed from this band. NoelSome of these were old photos from my drive. And as usual, I am in the habit of not posting pictures right away. I don't know why the sudden update. And why chose music? Maybe I'm looking for inspiration. Maybe I'm looking to get energized. Or simply just looking for something new. I hope music does not disappoint.
