best place in the world to practice 'windsurfing'! or so they say.

i tried a little bit of windsurfing and it's damn fun! even though it's very hard to get used to all the tricks and stances necessary to 'go with the wind'. i hope to try again in the future.

a protest against the recent expulsion of 1600 families from their homes by the government in São Paulo Estate (Brazil).

the military police used war tactics to confront unarmed civilians and make sure they were removed from their homes. people got hurt, many were arrested.

June, 2010, I posted the photo above. A very simple and innocent graphical representation of street fighters -- Ryu and Gouki/Akuma. Both characters are intellectual properties of Capcom.

If SOPA passes in its current form, this simple post wouldn't be possible. This photo would probably be banned, alongside my Flickr account because of the potential of 'future piracy threats'. All this could happen without Yahoo/Flickr permission.

My act of homage to a great intellectual property would be considered piracy.
