St. George and Stiftskirche by What is in us.
I suspect St. George was an ordinary soldier, before the dragon, and I suspect he came upon it by accident, stumbling, surprised, and thinking immediately that he wished he'd gone another way.

My memories of Tubingen are mainly of college kids everywhere, maybe the highest ratio of students to townies I've ever seen. But your photos show I obvoiusly wasn't paying enough attention to its classier, more aesthetic qualities.

Random fact: Did you know that that the University of Tubingen has probably the best collection of Islamic coins in the world?

The students are away, at the moment, so I got to see it first as a mostly empty, Christmastime town. I'm sure that'll change pretty quick ...
