Rosebud Crawling with Aphids & Caterpillar

    I backed up a bit and used a smaller aperture to get a DoF that covered more area so you could see the "whole scene" (even though the whole scene is still not much bigger than your thumb). This is as framed in the shot, uncropped.

      I think this is my favorite of the set, you get the most amount of sharpness of the bud and aphids.

      Woah, I didn't even know we had caterpillars! I haven't seen one since I was a kid. Maybe I'm just not looking close enough.

      fantastic detail! I hate aphids, they've destroyed many of my indoors plants over the years. if not by direct contact, by me spraying the leaves to kill them and then the plant got a bad reaction to the spray and slowy died... booh!
