This is my last night shot from Dubai. Unfortunately I did not have much time to take photos. But there will be more from that city in the near future!

The whole Dubai set.

More nightscapes in my Night Photography Set.

This shot is a composite of 6 exposures (from 0.5 to 116 seconds), blended manually with Photoshop CS3. I added a slight gaussian blur on the water to give it an even more silky look. More shots using this technique in my Digital Blending Set.

Damn, that Tamron lens of yours really captures sharp images... even the windows on the faaaaaar buildings are sharp and clear!!! But with tall buildings on the extreme ends of this scene, you must have lost quite a few pixels when you corrected the perspectives and then cropped it rectangular. How many of the 3800 horizontal pixels did you have left after that? I notice that you only uploaded a 1200 pixel version... do you resize all your photographs before uploading them? Why do you do that... why not simply restrict the larger sizes to only your contacts (or friends)?

ps. In my early 20s I had half a year in Australia and this was in winter at north hemisphere....then, I returned home and had summer again (a total of three times in a row!) and yes! I can appreciate your comment earlier about season changing...and I had that only once in my life!!!! :-)
