JBR: Jumeira Beach Residence, I live very close to this huge residential complex, that's why you keep seeing pictures from this place!
Temperatures are still getting cooler, around 27 C when I took this shot today at sunset.
8 exposures Digital Blending (1 exposure was shot with an ND400 filter, for the water). I started to do a tone-mapped HDR with Photomatix, but I was not satisfied at all with the results so I ended up blending all the exposures manually.

JBR on the Rocks

JBR: Jumeirah Beach Residence, on the right side. The lights on the horizon are from the Palm Island. And almost in the middle, you can spot the Burj Al Arab in the large view.
6 different exposures used to create this shot using Digital Blending. Shot this evening, the temperatures are cooling down, just below 30C now...

Must be viewed LARGE!
From a previous trip to Qatar back in May this year. Very impressive architecture, and the interior is even more fantastic. My next post will be an interior shot.

Signs of Life
LARGE View for the signs of life!
My dear friends, as you might have noticed, I am not very much active on flickr those days! However, this morning I managed to wake up at 4am, then drove to the desert to shoot the sunrise, the morning temperature was 22 C, almost feeling cool! (in Dubai it still goes up to 34 C during the day).
