I had the privilege with 49 other photographers of being selected for the launch of a new iPhone/iPod Touch application soon to be available for free on iTunes and Apple Store.
iFolio will provide a pleasant and smooth user interface to browse through the portfolios of various photographic artists.
While viewing the portfolios of an artist, the user will have a "Contact" button which will allow it to access information about the artist (his photo, his email, his website, a text description, a page news,...
Special thanks to the iFolio creators Hervé Péroteau & Thomas Courant.
As a side note, I won't be able to enjoy this phone & application myself...Those who know for which company I work will understand! ;-)
Sincere apologies to Giueseppe for stealing his idea of presentation for iFolio!
And lastly sorry for not visiting your streams lately, I unfortunately don't have much time for flickr these days.

The Bedouin Suite @ Al Maha
LARGE View
My wife and I recently spent 3 nights in the fabulous Al Maha resort in the middle of the desert, 1 hour drive from Dubai. Each suite has its own private temperature controlled swimming pool, and a wonderful view on the desert and its wildlife (oryx and gazelles), and you feel completely isolated. Service and food is top class. Several activities are included such as camel rides, falconry, dune safari. A few more shots to come.

Burj Dubai : 6h11 am
LARGE View
Taken this morning 40 minutes after sunrise. Already very hazy and hot, above 35 C. Thanks to my friend Jacques whom I had to wake up at dawn to let me in his apartment so I could get on the balcony! Hopefully from that same balcony I will be shooting the grand opening of the Burj Dubai on 9/9/9.
Digitally blended vertorama made of 3 portrait shots (11mm at f/8), then manually stitched horizontally.
The dark green color of the water is due to sand deposit at the bottom. You can see a lighter green patch where they started to clean it.
