...this has the potential to be one-trial learning (squish), so I'm curious: was this coincidence? Social learning from watching cars stop for humans (I mean, they are CANADIAN Geese!)? Plain old reliable dumb luck? Inquiring minds want to know....

When I first moved here (from Miami), I was amazed to see familiar palm trees growing (in CANADA?!). They look even more bizarre when the snow is falling...

Pointing...

This was a mighty cold morning to be out on the Bay in such a little craft in the snow. But the dog couldn't help being a dog nonetheless. He would have loved to go in and 'retrieve' the kayak.
