I hiked about four hours to the top of this ridge every morning for close to a week looking for a great landscape. I really wasn't expecting to photograph any animals, but this impressive yak was just to perfect to pass up as a foreground element. I really feel that he/she adds a sense of place to the image.

nice photo, but I think your geo-tag is wrong. from the map, I see you took it in Gansu Provence. you can't see Tibet from there, it is probably 3000km away. anyway, it is a fantastic photo!
