Yoop Trip, October 2007 - Alberta

Yup, about 45 minutes out from Houghton you can find an extension of the Michigan Tech campus, designed for forestry students so they can learn more in depth.

I took a trip through the Upper Peninsula a week ago to see Jill and relax. These pictures pretty much show how I can make it through the trip with pleasure: it is one of the most beautiful drives ever to see my most beautiful girl! All of these were shot through my windshield while driving with a 6 year old camera (5 or 6), so they aren't perfect, but the scenery always is. I cannot wait to make this trip next year with Jill with me when we come up for Winter Carnival and the Tech-NMU hockey games.
