Caipirinha

    Slice limes, muddle in bottom of glass with sugar syrup, add cachaca (ka-CHA-sa: a strong brazilian liquor made from sugar cane) maybe a little bit of soda water and enjoy!

      My recipe: Squeeze as many limes as you can handle into a jar. Cut out the center white string in the lime and place the limes in the jar. Add an equal amount of sugar to the jar as well as an equal amount of cachaca. Stir and let sit at room temperature for at least four hours. serve over ice. Very strong cocktail, but so dangerously good.
