That's when I reach for my Revolver

I went to a shooting range with my boss and another coworker last Saturday. I hadn't shot a gun in years but made up for it. I took a quick pic of this gun while we were reloading. I believe it was the .357 magnum. Tells you how much I know.

Looks like it could be a .357. Can I ask what range you were at?

Very surprising, I don't really think of a gun as an object of art. I like it.

I can find out the name, but off the top of my head all I can remember is that it was a private range down in Kankakee. Pretty good sized place.

Was this shot with available light? Apart from the specular highlights on the cylinder, it is beautifully exposed, and I don't know how you could have done better short of HDR or using a diffuser. The composition is also really very good, and if, as you say, it was a grab shot, you did well.

A nice shot. I like it.

Yes, it was available light. We were outside but under a little pavillion which helped keep it from being washed out. Thank you.
