Snail, My Nana's Garden, July 2006

    Part of my new series on Gardens. I would love some feedback on the images. I'll post my artist statment soon.

    This in my mom and nana's yard, in Missouri, taken in June.

    I think gardens are really interesting spaces. Gardening is a super creatitve activity and I always image that gardens are alive with more than just plants. Gardens have their own personalities. I think the lawn ornaments come to life when no one is looking and that each garden is it's own special kingdom. I'm trying to show the creative imaginary kingdoms.
