Not so great as the 'capture' that followed! *sqweeeaaak*
No, kiddin'. We tried to find its mother but couldn't. The cat was a well fed pregnant female who wasn't sure what to make of it... never saw the outcome but I'm sure it worked out very well indeed!!!

Hey Anthony, how's life. nice capture, great angle on that.
And we all know how it will eventually end: Chicken Soup.

    5. dæxus (65 months ago | reply)

Not enough chick for a decent Satay!

Hey Andre. I'm meant to email you. Life's good though my big trip now comes to an end this week. I'm in Phuket at the mo and back to Blighty (UK) on this Sat 20th :)
Never made it back to BKK long enough to meet up :( Next time, hey!?

    6. Mr November (65 months ago | reply)

Brilliant! You were lucky to be in the right place to capture this one. The mood and the expressions are really excellent.

fantastic... of course, after you took the shot, you made the cat ran away. The double-hero you are :)

how adorable! ... but by your comment it's futile to run away :( poor chick

    13. Patrick Mayon (65 months ago | reply)

Just like with Tweety and Sylvester, where Tweety used this famous catch phrase : "I did! I did taw a putty tat!" La version francaise : Ze crois bien que z'ai vu un gros minet !

      great catch!

Thank you for your emotional comments *sniff*

In order to justifiably appease you kind hearts, I thought it best to fill you up on the situation as it presented itself. And what better way than thru this wonderful medium of photography + commentary!!

The cat: "Stop that tweeting - you ain't worth it!"

The cat again: "Look at this poor thing, people. Can someone tweet back that I'm vegetarian!?!?"

So there you go - see? Happy ending... truly!

I just felt like a war correspondent waiting on my knees and elbows in the sand (as bemused people walked by) for the opportune moment when 'true' emotion could be captured!

The cat was genuinely not impressed by this little attention seeker, which I'm sure is now a week older! And NO - I'm not going back to this island to check!!!

So cute, yet slightly disturbing :) great use of black and white and its just a great image. Works better than them 2 above in colour, just conveys more I think.
