The other female seemed a bit lonely after these two paired up, so I got a new male for her. Well now both pairs have had babies and there are eight birds... I have created a monster... hahaha

Anyone want a bird or two?

Stubbs

Named after the stub where his toe should be, and only realized after I got him home from the pet store. Now it seems his other foot is maybe a bigger problem for him. Seen here, as of late, he does not put any weight on the foot. It is as if the foot is paralized, and can't grip a perch... poor guy.

I thought about returning him to the pet store, but then again I think I will keep him. He has a great new home where he seems very happy, as he is always singing. He shares a large cage with two females and has three nests available. Did I mention he has fixed up all three nests with nesting material... what a trooper.

I just don't have the heart to take him back to that pet store.
