Trade Show Kiosk Graphics

Trade Show Kiosk Graphics by Dave Seah.
I was asked to create some booth graphics for a tradeshow and doing a bit of 3D illustration at the same time. This was fun because I got to dip my hand into 3D again, trying the open source Blender 3D package instead of upgrading my expensive 3DS Max license. Modeling and texturing in Blender is a bit different than what I'm used to, particularly for metallic materials, but it's cool anyway. I built the actual diagram in Photoshop for the 'fade away' effects, because it was a lot easier to control there using layer marks than to do it completely in-scene.

I would have liked to go nuts on the information graphics and the science, but the purpose of the graphic (80 x 90 inches) was to attract attention to a booth as a talking point, not stand alone.
