Wedding - Equipment by Cyler Parent.
So this is most of the equipment my assistant Lauren and I used at a wedding we shot last weekend. There was a Canon 20D equipped with Canon 50 1.8 as well. It sure is nice to be able to have friends to borrow equipment from. Thank you Jono, Jordan, Lauren, and Caitlin.

I believe we had a total of 20 GB of CF cards and we had a bunch of stands and lighting stuff as well.

3000 photos and 25 GB later we had a Wedding captured. Still have a ways to go with the editing.

How did you synchronize SB-80DX, SB-28 and SB-26 to be use with D300 and D70 since the flash isn't i-TTL? Did you used them remotely with the assist of PW?

The SB800 was used on-camera by my partner in iTTL for the ceremony and reception. For the ceremony I used the flashes (two at the front of the sanctuary, and two at the rear on a diff channel). At the formals we did a combination of off-camera and no flash. For the reception I was using the SB28 on-camera (bouncing into mirrored ceiling) with no iTTL. I just set my lens to an aperture that it could hit across it's entire zoom range, picked a nice shutter speed, set the flash to M and found the right power. Then I didn't have to worry about it much, only when I needed a diff aperture.

What's funny is that I take such a light approach to gear now. You gotta have backups, but I only used 3 lenses, one camera and 3 flashes at the last wedding I shot.
