Mt Tam/Bo Ridge Ride - 8/12/06

Hooked up with Carlos D., JimG and Patrick S. from the iBob list down near Tam Junction in Mill Valley. Carlos had cooked up a nice mixed-road/trail loop up Railroad Grade to Mt. Tamalpais East Peak, (Patrick peeling off at West Point Inn due to time constraints) then down E. Ridgecrest to West Ridgecrest, out Bolinas Ridge Trail, dropping down to the Bike path near SP Taylor Campground, then rolled home through the San Geronimo valley and Fairfax. By the time we hit Fairfax, there was no question about the need to stop at Java City for some iced espresso and high-carb snacks. I peeled off in San Anselmo and headed home, and JimG & Carlos slogged back to the City. Carlos had 57 miles on the electro-ticker as I split off, so it was pretty good mileage, I reckon.
