Another pattern

The biggest advantage of the gen2 board is that all I need to do is download a new version of the software and I've got a different pattern. :)

This time I learned about how AVRs structure memory. See, it hadn't quite register in my brain that constants go in the code segment because there's no loader to load stuff into the data segment..... so I was wondering why it wasn't loading things the way I wanted it to. Once I realized that no, it's not quite like that, everything fell into place and worked.

I've got other patterns but no time to post them quite yet.

Ahh, had to read the guidlines to make sure that cheating and using a circuit board to do the dirty work was OK. :)
