Of the 4 pictures you posted, this one really jumped out at me in the thread. I really like the colors and the way everything is so sparkly!! =)

Thanks for geotagging it too! I love seeing where people took their pictures!

Add another "me too" to what PunkJr said. It mages me want to toss in a penny!

OK, guys, you convinced me (and the "other" Dave said so too in the thread) - I took this one, which would be one of my two favorites as well. Thanks for your support, greatly appreciated!

Wow. This is beautiful. I love the sparkles on the water. Really really lovely and beautiful colours too - the lower left part looks like a painting

That other Dave... what a funny guy.

I love this one greatly. A fav. Did you use a filter to get the stars?

Thanks, Sally! Funny that you mention the painting, since the "other Dave" said it felt like a Monet ;-)

Thanks alaskan too - I had the skylight filter mounted, but no star filter or anything extraordinary. The light was so incredibly bright that day - it's a 1/1000 shutter speed! I was actually planning to take my "Frozen Time" shot at this fountain... until I found a more dynamic subject for that one ;-)

      That's amazing. What's a skylight filter?

    9. Cybergabi (74 months ago | reply)

Em, a skylight filter is used to reduce the haziness, thus making your picture more brilliant. The one I use is actually not a skylight, but a haze filter. I keep it on the lens all the time, except I sometimes take it off for night shots since it has the nasty habit of creating lens flare from time to time.
