I almost ran face 1st into this bears butt before I noticed it. I was reading some notes as I walked down the trail and looked up about 15 feet from its hind end and noticed it at the same time it saw me. All I could think of was, "OH CRAP!", before I turned and walked briskly back the direction I came, to my truck and my camera.
