Tahoe

Tahoe

Some friends and I drove up to Mt. Lemon to go hiking, and Erik decided to bring his new puppy Tahoe. He's a great dog.

No matter how many times I go up there, I can never believe the temperature difference. Today in Tucson it was probably only around 100 degrees, and 40 minutes later, up in the mountains, it was probably only around 70 degrees. Soooooo nice :)

Big Crash

Big Crash

We had another great storm tonight, so I thought I'd try to capture some lightning from my backyard. It didnt work out so well. Most of the lightning was upper atmosphere, my lens had a lot of rain on it, and my timing was terrible. This was pretty much the closest I could get, even with cropping it down about 70%

Still in a Slump :(

Still in a Slump :(

Here's an old one from the archives. Make sure you press L!

Since summer began I've been in basically a photographic slump. I've moved back to my parents house and since then I have been so uninspired that I'll go weeks without picking up the camera. And thats weird for me. All school year I was out taking pictures pretty much everyday, and this was after my 365 Project had ended. It had become a habit of mine. Or was it not a habit, but rather the fact that I was living in a different enviorment, and that allowed me to be more inspired, and thus create more photos. All I know now is that I need to find a new source of inspiration, because I have another month at my parents before I move back down to campus.
