Gravity and friction. In other words - not very well.
It fell today - no worries, no damage. It fell face first, 2 feet to the floor and against a desk. Around 20 pixels fell out. The sound of it falling was....distinctive. Ah well, now that it is down, I can replace some of the off-color pixels.

I actually brought my camera in today to do that. I still plan to once we get it back up in the window.
In the mean time, you can:
Click the "All Sizes" button above the photo.
Then click the "Original" link above that photo.
The originals are pretty big and you can see the individual blocks distinctly.
