This is quite lovely. I like how you've tried to duplicate the lighting and background from the original image.

@David, I tried my best to match it to the image because it really is one of my favorite images of them together. But it soon became harder when I realized that Chiaki was looking the other way. ^^;; Pinkies, I realized always looked to the left and not to the right. I haven't noticed one that looked to the left. :3 I am strangely tempted to actually grab another miiko to repaint her to look to the left. :3
