Clip-on optical viewfinder

I made a detour to OLPC HQ on a visit to the Media Lab to drop off XOView viewfinders to Walter and Nicholas. Here's Walter posing with his in his office.

It's a laptop made for children in developing countries to which has been added a plastic viewfinder to help frame the view of the built-in camera.

Cute, but seems like it would get lost easily. Make it double as a flash-drive plus add a way to tether it to the person or XO and you are on to something.

Yeah, incorporating a flash drive occured to us. And adding a hole for a lanyard would be easy--if we ever do another version...
