OLPC XO-1 Clip-on sports viewfinder made of LEGO bricks"O" game button triggers shutter Very little parallax error Screen in B&W mode (brightness turned all the way down) conserves power but also lets people see how they're framed. XO camera aperture I tend to prefer the xo in ebook mode when I'm walking around and taking photos. Seth, you're absolutely right to point that out. I was being lazy in staging this photo. I'm going to add a brick between the XO and the viewfinder in the next version. ![]() The OLPC XO-1 still / video camera only faces in the same direction as the screen. When the camera and screen are turned to face the camera subject, you can press the "O" game button to take a picture. But it's hard to frame up the shot without a viewfinder. So I made one out of seven standard LEGO bricks that slips into the USB port.
