Thanks. You can read more in the HDR group, but essentially it's creating a High Dynamic Range image using multiple exposures that capture both the shadows and the highlights. I like to then pop them into Photoshop Elements and do some adjustments for either a realistic look or an artistic one (like this one).

I use the trial version of Photomatix to create the HDR and tonemap it, but then pull it into Photoshop Elements 3 and fiddle with it until it looks 'interesting'. ;)
