I was told by a friend that the little one will rule me by the time she is 4. Guess that’s my destiny – I ran away from the one who raised me with an iron fist, to marry another who will happily drink my blood, only to father one who would own me.

Open up your eyes take a look at me
If the picture fits in your memory

Some people settle for the typical thing

I found this in my archive. I remember the moment very vividly. I had started driving up the hwy 1 from LA in the morning, and by sun down the fog had made it impossible for me to go forward. I could barely see 3 feet ahead. With little gas left, I decided to turn around. This was the very last shot of that trip. Tired, exhausted, and longing to go back home, I braved the biting cold and windy evening moment to get one last shot.

I like to have my pictures tell a story. Interesting or not, the story is essential. Where I am at now in my life, I believe this frame illustrates the extent of my unrest. That passing vehicle's long drawn light streak makes me think that we all want to go home. Be with Loved ones. Rest. Slow down and relish this life. But can we really?
