This year, the University of Maryland is celebrateing the 10th anniversary of Maryland Day. To celebrate, the university's dining services has baked 50,000 cupcakes to be served throughout the day on Hornbake Plaza. Festivities begin at 10 a.m., April 26, with the opening ceremony featuring President C.D. (Dan) Mote, Jr., ABC-2 News anchor and alumna Mary Beth Marsden, and Testudo. Enjoy your cupcake while listening to music played by the university's free-form, student-run radio station, WMUC.
Many of the students helped set up the cupcakes...beginning at 9:30 tonight and they won't stop until 7:00 tomorrow morning! Starbucks at 11:30...boxed lunch at 2:00 a.m. And, of course, a cupcake!

how amazing, they must have used quite a bit
of food colouring for all those, and think of
the ingredients list for 50,000!!! I thought
