Aqueduct

ahí quiero llegar
Aqueduct by cuellar.
The Aqueduct of Segovia is one of the most significant and best-preserved monuments left by the Romans on the Iberian Peninsula.

Researchers have placed the date of construction between the second half of the 1st Century AD and the early years of the 2nd Century— during the reign of either Emperor Vespasian or Nerva.

Excellent composition. So imposing with a backdrop of the dramatic sky. I've seen one near Nimes, France. Amazing architecture.

i love aqueducts. it's amazing how they still defy time, and some of them look practically 'as good as new' while the glamorous roman temples, courts and villas are unrecognisable ruins.
