The Aqueduct of Segovia is one of the most significant and best-preserved monuments left by the Romans on the Iberian Peninsula.

Researchers have placed the date of construction between the second half of the 1st Century AD and the early years of the 2nd Century— during the reign of either Emperor Vespasian or Nerva.

El Acueducto de Segovia es uno de los monumentos más significativos y mejor conservados de los que dejaron los romanos en la península.

Los investigadores lo sitúan entre la segunda mitad del siglo I y principios del II, en tiempo de los emperadores Vespasiano o Nerva.

i love aqueducts. it's amazing how they still defy time, and some of them look practically 'as good as new' while the glamorous roman temples, courts and villas are unrecognisable ruins.

this is a great shot of a great place. the segovia aqueduct is one of the most amazing roman ruins i've seen. they are in such great condition. i have recently returned spain and if your taken on date is accurate then we were there on the same day. another flickr coincidence. you live in a beautiful country, by the way.
