Researchers have placed the date of construction between the second half of the 1st Century AD and the early years of the 2nd Century— during the reign of either Emperor Vespasian or Nerva. Excellent composition. So imposing with a backdrop of the dramatic sky. I've seen one near Nimes, France. Amazing architecture.
