Cars 3201 through 3208, the first eight cars of the 3200-series, were transferred to the Purple Line in early 2007, possibly to replace 2600-series cars lost to the Red and Blue Lines due to three-track. 3207-3208 is parked in the Linden Yard on a Sunday afternoon, bearing "Loop" destination signs from the Friday prior.
