Bird? didnt notice that one!
The Whole Stadium by cstein96.
wide angle of Nats Park. Luckily, my 18mm could capture it all from the highest point in the stadium.

Better when large ?

Great vista! Looks like this area of DC is really (re-)building.

Yeah - it's going to be beautiful in about 1-2 years. Cant wait to see how that area changes - if it'll be something similar to Gallery Place or not.

A great view of the new stadium.

I was all the way up by the left field foul poll in the 300 level and still felt like I had great seats.

stacey - did you just mazel tov me? haha.

thanks for the note fix vote - I meant capital as in important.. right...

I actually think i WANT to sit up in the 300 level. The views are better. Baseball is meant to be watched from up there... at least until I am rich.

Forget that -- I was at the top of Section 402 in left field, suffering from altitude sickness. I felt like Uecker. Of course, those seats really aren't bad at all -- and considering that it was only five bucks for my seat, I'm real happy about the experience up there, though I spent a decent chunk of the game watching it from other parts of the park.

The cheapest seats have the best city views. I think that's cool.

nice shot. did you have any trouble bringing the camera into the stadium, or do they allow slrs in? i am always wary about bringing mine to a stadium for fear of getting turned away.

Thanks DCist. Glad to finally have one.

Trent - no problems at all. They did inspect it briefly, but I only have an 18-200 zoom. I think lenses are okay to bring in as long as they are below 8 inches in length. I saw a lot of others there.
