One of my favorite bands from way back. I remember when I last saw them at Center Stage many moons ago. They did not disappoint. My only complaint was that they ended on a slow song. Boo to that! I shot these on my tiptoes, hanging on to my nephew for support and over the heads of a massive crowd.

I found out that it's crazy difficult to shoot lightning when it's still light in the sky but got lucky getting this one shot in about forty. The night ones didn't turn out as well because trying to figure out how long to keep the shutter open was harder than I thought and created some problems with exposure. But the storm chasing was a total blast. I think I'm addicted.

It was a crazy, windy, wonderful cloud afternoon on Kettle Point. We stood out here for quite a while snapping away at these great clouds until all hell broke loose. It was totally worth it.

I'd post more, especially of the cool lightning but I'm having lots of trouble with banding. Anybody know how to deal with that in LR3?

Fierce, loyal, beautiful, intelligent, witty and a whole lot of fun. I met them exactly two years ago through Brian Day. Couldn't be more thrilled to have made their acquaintance and to call them my friends. They don't post to Flickr very much any more but they are both excellent photographers on top of everything else.

A sunflower field almost took me down last night. But I've survived to shoot another day. And today is a short day. After a couple of hours of work, I'm off to Canada to see the lovely Deb and Kelly for a much needed vacation. Have a lovely weekend everyone!
