From a series of promotion images for Santa Macabre Jewellery.

Lighting was a classic clamshell set up with a Deep octa with the silver beauty dish deflector and no baffles mounted on a boom stand, above head height with a silver reflector at the base to fill in shadows.

Test shoot for the Elinchrom Eco Ring flash. The Ring flash was location above model about 3ft up and slightly forward of the model. It was aimed by an assistant.

An out-take from a photo session. During the session we found that Suki wanted to join in. Lighting is a single 300RX head with a grid feathered to the models left.

The second image from the Production series of projects that's ongoing this year. This set was to be retro fashion involving a Triumph Roadster as the main set.

A deceptively simple image to look at but complex to process and light. This is a two light set up. The Quadra with a diffuser cap was to the front right of the model to form the key light (channel B, power unknown). with a fill light came from a 580EX with a skyport attached, this was set to manual 1/32 power and with diffuser panel down (14mm coverage). The 580EX was place to the rear of passenger seat with light bounced off the roof of the car. The main problem was balancing the 580EX with the Quadra, and ensuring minimal flare back from the chrome inside and outside the car.

Exposure was set to knock down the ambient about 1 stop.
