Christmas Cheer Broadcast 2011
December 8th 2011 was the annual Christmas Cheer breakfast at the Westin Ottawa.
Later throughout the entire day, the Christmas Cheer Broadcast on 580CFRA, in the middle of the Rideau Centre.
The Caring and Sharing Exchange helped out with fundraising on this busy day. There was entertainment and local VIPs on hand to read pledges over the air. Over $213,000 were raised by 6pm through the radio broadcast and various smaller fundraising happening simultaneously.
The funds of the Christmas Cheer Broadcast are split between the Ottawa Food Bank, our own Christmas Exchange Program, as well as the Sens Foundation.
