I can see that the secondary monitor is a Samsung. Do you have a more specific model number?

  2. Crouching Donkey 52 months ago | reply

Hi Johan, yep, it's a Samsung SyncMaster 940BW.

That’s a really awesome setup. How is the battery lifetime of the mouse?

  11. Crouching Donkey 47 months ago | reply

Thank you epicphil! Well, my first one developed a fault, and a fresh battery lasted for 2-3 days only! But I got it replaced, and it's now lasting 3-4 months.

What's your spesific need for 2nd screen in potrait orientation and how well does it fit on your workflow? Is it always in potrait orientation?

  16. Crouching Donkey 36 months ago | reply

Well, it was my main monitor for my PowerBook, before I got my iMac. So as not to waste it, I used it as second screen. It's great for that extra room. I can have various messengers open there, palettes for when I'm using Photoshop etc. It can even be for a simple thing like dragging album art onto iTunes on the main screen. Yes, it's always in portrait orientation.

great setup. I have the same question as heikkipekka, what is the brand and model of the right monitor in portrait? Thanks!

  18. Crouching Donkey 34 months ago | reply

Hey Jin, the monitor to the right of my iMac is a Samsung SynchMaster 480BW monitor. I don't think you can buy them as new anymore, as they're a few years old.
