Leopard Fever

Even the iPods have the Leopard wall!
Does this one have a Leopard Wallpaper? :P
almost obsessive
Wireless Dual Screen?!

Imagine That!!
Well, I'm sure that that's possible, what with the new HDMI wireless transceivers.

is that a western external hard disk?

Thanks Lemon Couch! Yes, it's a MyBook. It's not that much more in price than a standard 3.5" internal HD, so I thought why not.

What mouse is that?

And how is the WD MyBook? I'm thinking about getting one.

Crouching Donkey  Pro User  says:

It's a Logitech VX mouse. They're very good to use.

The MyBook is good too, although not as quiet as I'd hoped. You can hear a hum if it's sitting on the desk. Still, I don't think any external HDs can be virtually silent.

how do you connect it to your tv? through apple tv?
Posted 23 months ago. ( permalink )

Crouching Donkey  Pro User  says:

Hehe! Thanks. I know what you mean!

It's not connected to a Mac at all. Instead the Leopard wallpaper is being displayed via a PS3 (not in view). I think the Apple TV is a glorified iPod for the moment, so I don't see a point in getting one.

Crouching Donkey  Pro User  says:

@ moumen20 and applemacman. Thanks for your compliments! I bought my desk from a Japanese store here in Hong Kong, called Francfranc. To my knowledge, the company only has stores in Japan, and Hong Kong, so tracking one down might be difficult, depending on where you live.

What makes it stand out from the average desk is the black glass desktop I think. If you really want to achieve a similar result, you could try buying a desk frame, and ask a local glazier to cut you a sheet of black tempered glass to fit it. (The glass itself isn't black; it's clear tempered glass that's been spray painted black on the underside.)

Crouching Donkey  Pro User  says:

Hi Chris! The Leopard wallpaper is displayed as a photo on the iPods, and TV screens.

No, my PowerBook is not connected to my iMac. As far as I'm aware only a Mac Pro can drive more than 2 screens, as it's the only Mac with a powerful enough GFX card.

PS, do you always drink out of a small bucket? Hehe!

Thank you epicphil! Well, my first one developed a fault, and a fresh battery lasted for 2-3 days only! But I got it replaced, and it's now lasting 3-4 months.
