Mario Bros 3 Map

Cross stitch map of the first world of Super Mario Bros 3. Finished size 34 x 28 cm.

Due to request: I didn't use a pattern when I made this one. I simply took a screen shot from the game and zoomed in real close so I could see and count the pixels. One pixel=one stitch. If you view the picture with a grid it makes it easier to work with.

If you want to make a chart of any video game image there's a good tutorial at Sprite stitch: www.spritestitch.com/?p=391

    Good luck!

Wow, I was so inspired by this one I started making one myself, from the Star Wars game. Unfortunately, I sort of misjudged the size, so I ended up with a 70x60 cm thing. And most of it is black. In four months or so, when it's finished, it'll be worth it though ^^ Thanks for the inspiration!

I don't even want to think about how long this must have taken you, or should I say how long it would take me. I am a very slow stitcher, but this is absolutely incredible.
