Waking up, girl

*^No, I am not having gender issues! It was the appropriate title for this photo of Maggie.

This is from May when we took a short vacation and she had just woke up. There is a certain lucidity of a child when they are in this state, sort of a catatonic Buddha.

I took the liberty of making the photo a black and white and air brushing out Maggie's hand from the left side of her face.

Since Betsy never reads the blog I can tell you that this photo is one of her holiday gifts this year. It is being printed on canvas and placed on a wooden stretcher.
