I knew the guy (Jim Freeman) from when he had a cart @ the Berkeley Farmers market, dragging his pink coffee cart behind his Peugeot 505 station wagon.

He's got employees now and is all over the Bay Area, never see him any more.

aiyah: I was SUCH a coffee addict years ago, and no longer drink caffeinated coffee (or any caffeine for that matter)...and so decaf coffee is such a treat! Blue Bottle is the BEST.

Itinerant: I have heard stories about his beginnings--this coffee is out of this world, it's so good.

Chef Austin: this coffee is also the best smelling--fresh roasted every week.
