You are right, Mister! That's a chiffonade
of kefir lime leaves indeed. :) I'll post
the recipe soon--I've been posting a lot on
Muffin Top and don't want to "hog the
blog" so I'll wait a bit until someone
else posts!

Yay! I got my garnish right! :-)
I've been posting a lot on both Muffin Top
and ReadCookEat - and I've got a thousand new
things to write about! I have to admit that
switching my focus from just my daily life to
food/cooking/cookbooks has been really quite
inspiring...

I hope you post more, Eric!
Mel: yes it was SPICY. SPIIIICY. I think
I really put too much of the curry paste in,
I would decrease it to a third of what I put
in, next time I make this! But it was also
yummy.

You bet I'll be posting a lot more.
I've only had one curry that was too hot to
eat - and this month's Donna Hay magazine has
a whole article on curry pastes. Really
interesting!

I have only just started hearing Donna Hay's
name and I've been wondering about her...and
now that article on curry pastes sounds
fascinating. Anyone whose magazine has an
article on curry pastes is cool with me!

Donna Hay is someone you really would like,
Christine. Being an Australian magazine, they
tend to have a LOT more in the way of Asian
and Asian-inspired food than most of the
foodie mags. Its gorgeously shot and
beautifully designed - and the recipes are
all really good. Check her out!

Oh, I've been coveting Donna Hay's cookbooks.
Beautiful and minimalist.

Apparently you can get it from Amazon here. We can get it here in most of our larger
bookshops so if you checked out Borders or
Barnes and Noble or something you might find
it...

There ya go - the latest issue is pretty
cool... The only strange thing is that with
the seasons being opposite to ours they start
talking about warming cozy foods in the
middle of our summer. Bit incongruous but fun
still!
