At-the-paraplegic-center

In Peshawar, our humanitarian organization build in '86 a new paraplegic center for Afghan and Pakistani injured people. So many young people were there and every day more came. We used to make reeducation and provide them wheel chair. Nowadays it's under supervision of the Pakistani Red Crescent
I dont' no why but this picture symbolize what I felt when I was there.

So-beautiful-smile

This beautiful kid was wounded by a land mine in Afghanistan.
Then he came in our Hospital for war wounded Afghan people, in Peshawar to be amputee. A silent and brave victim of an awful war.
After a while he could walk with new artificial limbs and was very proud to stand again.
Let's not forget his smile and his courage.

Gul-Bashra

My lovely friend Gul Bashra came from Afghanistan with an infected knee to our Hospital for war wounded Afghan patients in Peshawar.
Although she was not a war wounded patient but get cancer, the swiss surgeon agree to operate her for free, to save a life.
She was very cute and courageous and we became closed friend.
Unfortunately cancer was stronger then her and she die some months after.
