      I think it was a film called "Magic" that spoiled puppets for me. I've always found them a bit sinister since then. Anyone seen it?

      This is totally great. I love the sepia tones - and everything! :) I used to be totally fascinated by ventriloquist dolls (ok, I still am)... When I was a kid, I used to practice talking without moving my lips, and got a Charlie McCarthy doll. It was cheapo though, so we returned it.
