Hey... two of my favorites combined in one
picture: "blue" and
"silhouette" :-) Very nice...
BTW: Is that the proverbial fog in the lower
right corner... or some kind of flare (or
even some form of postprocessing)?

Okay, so it really IS the proverbial London
fog. I just asked because it seemed so
perfectly fitting... maybe a little too
perfect. ;-)
(Isn't it strange how being occupied so much
with digital imagery makes you sometimes
question your perception... even when there
is actually no reason to do so...?)

mmmh, maybe you misunderstood: the fog is not
fog but the handrail of the bridge very close
to the lens and thus onfocused.
But you are right, and I think it is kind of
distracting that we think a lot about
postprocessing and filters and all that stuff
instead of the photo itself....

Ah, yes indeed: It was a misunderstanding...
But now I get it.
Anyway: If the whole discussion shows one
thing, it's the following: Under the right
circumstances, even the handrail of a bridge
can pass as fog. ;-)
