An Intercontinental Image

An Intercontinental Image

Sifting through an old collection of photos, I stumbled upon this quaint little mistake. The Supersampler camera I took it with had some sort of a problem, and the result was a double exposure that included places 9516 kilometres apart from each other. The background picture is in the Parisian Jardin de Tuileries, while the light layer on top was taken in Guangzhou, China. Both cities are dynamic in their own way, and hold some of the world's most internationally celebrated food. I'm glad that there are cameras like the Supersampler, which continue to be more creative than me.

MAXXI II

MAXXI II

This is a picture of the MAXXI museum in Rome, a famous structure but Zaha Hadid but, otherwise, not much of an attraction. I like this picture because the curious structure of the building looks especially distorted with the Fisheye lens, turning its components into more interesting shapes.

Piazza Navona

Piazza Navona

A picture of Rome's world-famous Piazza Navona during carnival. I took this picture with my Fisheye camera, giving the adjacent buildings that slightly curved look giving the scene a surreal air. The weather that day was quite unfortunate, which is what made this picture so grainy.
